Busy but enjoyable life in Oxford
It was a very sunny morning today, and as usual, cold. Today, we spent an hour in class preparing for our presentation in front of the class, and then presented it in the hall in front of everyone. I was able to finish my presentation without too much trouble since I usually do presentations in class at Hiroo Koishikawa.
It was worthwhile to work on the slides last night with my friend from my group of the presentation. In the second period, we played a game called "stop the bus," which I had never played in Japan, so it was a lot of fun. I was very happy to be able to be friends with my classmates during this week because we often asked each other questions and had discussions in class.
After that, we took a taxi to go strawberry picking, which only six of us could participate in. At the strawberry picking, we could take as many strawberries as we wanted. I sometimes ate the strawberries that I picked and they were very sweet and tasty. After returning from strawberry picking, we went out for dinner.
After that, my friends and I prepared for the disco which started at 20:00. I did not have any clothes to go to the disco, so my German friend who is very close to me in class lent me some clothes.
The disco was very bustling with many people dancing and singing along with the music. I was glad I went to the disco because it gave me a chance to talk with people I had never spoke before. I went back to my room with my German friends and they told me about traditional German dances and famous songs, which was very interesting.
